This reflects the highest aspirations and determination regarding workplace safety of the Board of Directors and all staff and workers of Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) at the "Meeting and Exchange with Families and Relatives of Workers and Employees" program - a humane event that connects family feelings with work and spreads a culture of workplace safety.

In the electricity industry, workplace safety is not just a principle, but a matter of survival. Every electricity worker, while wearing their uniform and shouldering the responsibility of providing stable electricity, also faces countless risks. With the desire to spread safety awareness to every family, Thanh Hoa Power Company recently organized a program titled "Meeting, exchanging, and sharing with families and relatives of workers and employees" at several affiliated units. This was an opportunity for company leaders, employees, and their families to share and understand each other's difficulties, thereby contributing to creating a sustainable and safe work environment. This activity took place from March 20, 2025, to April 20, 2025, at all affiliated units of Thanh Hoa Power Company.

A new approach – A new mindset for success.

Every electrical worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory of all.

The program "Meeting, exchanging, and sharing with families and relatives of workers and employees" on safety matters was organized at all units under Thanh Hoa Power Company.

Workplace safety is not a new issue in the electricity industry in general and at Thanh Hoa Power Company in particular. In fact, for many years, the company has always paid special attention to this area. However, to achieve sustainable and long-term effectiveness, in addition to focusing on technical measures and safety procedures, Thanh Hoa Power Company has chosen an innovative, creative, and more humane approach: making each family a solid foundation for workplace safety. This is not just a single event, but the beginning of a long journey towards building a safety culture in the thoughts and habits of each individual and their family. The meeting serves as an important bridge between the company, employees, and their families. It aims to raise awareness of workplace safety among staff and workers, as well as help families better understand the unique and challenging nature of the work in the electricity industry. Listening to the thoughts and feelings of their family members helps to strengthen the bond between the company and its employees' families, so that they can work together to build a safety culture.

Commitment from the leadership – Putting people first

At the meetings, the organizers showed videos about unsafe situations over the years, simulating workplace accidents that have occurred in the electricity industry, helping people to better understand the consequences of negligence and violations of procedures.

Every electrical worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory of all.

Director of Thanh Hoa Power Company, Hoang Hai, addressed relatives of workers, officials, and employees of the company's affiliated units at the meeting.

Speaking to the families of workers and employees, the Director of Thanh Hoa Power Company, Hoang Hai, emphasized: "Every power worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory. Their work is not just a profession, but a mission – bringing light to millions of people, but that light cannot be exchanged for their own safety. Every accident is not just a loss for an individual, but also affects their family and the company. No job is more important than human life. We want all our workers to understand that carelessness equals danger. Every time you climb a power pole, every time you come into contact with electricity, remember that your family is waiting for you to come home safely."

Director Hoang Hai conveyed powerful messages: Safety is not an option, but a necessity; Safety is not the responsibility of an individual, but the responsibility of the entire team; If you see your colleague making a mistake, don't stay silent – remind them, because you are saving a life; If you are a relative of an electrical worker, always ask them: Did you follow safety procedures today? Therefore, he hopes that families will also participate, reminding employees to always follow safety procedures before leaving home. He also committed to creating the safest possible working environment so that every worker can "Work safely – Go home safely" by continuing to invest heavily in safety, protective equipment, professional training, applying strict monitoring procedures, preventing complacency, and caring for the protection of workers.

Every electrical worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory of all.

Representatives from the Board of Directors, the Trade Union Standing Committee, and heads of specialized departments and affiliated units delivered speeches to share their condolences with the families of workers, employees, and laborers.

During these meetings, representatives from the Board of Directors, the Trade Union Standing Committee, and heads of specialized departments/divisions of the Company and its affiliated units shared heartfelt insights, expressing deep concern for occupational safety and committing to supporting employees in all circumstances. Real-life stories and lessons learned from past incidents were shared not only to warn but also to help each individual enhance their sense of responsibility towards themselves and their colleagues.

Beyond simply promoting safety awareness, the company's leadership also emphasizes building a sustainable safety culture where every employee not only mechanically follows procedures but also proactively identifies risks and reports potential hazards promptly. From management to direct laborers, everyone must prioritize safety, not only for personal responsibility but also for the long-term development of the collective.

Strengthening family bonds – Spreading a culture of workplace safety.

Workplace safety is not just a slogan hung on the wall; it should become the first thing every worker thinks about when starting work, and the way to contribute to this is to have the participation of their families in this journey.

Every electrical worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory of all.

Representatives of the families of workers, employees, and laborers gave speeches and shared their thoughts at the meetings.

In a warm, reflective, and emotional atmosphere, representatives of the employees' families shared heartfelt and profound thoughts. They are not just those silently watching from behind the scenes, but also a strong source of emotional support, providing motivation for the electricians to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their work. Because they understand that safety is not only the company's responsibility – but the responsibility of an entire family. Each family member is not just someone waiting, but also someone reminding and protecting, so that we can all work safely – and return home safely.

"For me, what rests on his shoulders is not just a job, but a mission – bringing light to every home. The hardships, braving the sun and rain, eating and sleeping quickly, the sweat, the salt stains on his shirt after work, and the husbands and wives whose skin is sunburned after each hot season – all are proof of his tireless efforts to earn a living, to provide for his family, and above all, his responsibility to customers, the electricity industry, and the community. His work not only demands dedication but also carries many risks. I constantly remind him to be careful and follow safety procedures to protect himself and his colleagues. Family will always be his support system, a haven after a long day at work, and a companion, sharing and empathizing on that journey, igniting the flame of love within him and our little home," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, wife of worker Trinh Xuan Hung (Yen Dinh Power Company).

"There are times when he has to be away from his family, working night shifts or rushing to repair the power grid when storms hit, day or night, rain or shine; home-cooked meals are missing him, holidays are incomplete because of his work. These things make me appreciate and be proud of my life partner even more. As his support system, I not only take care of the family completely but also spread pride in the power industry – where he and his colleagues are contributing. I understand that my companionship is not just a silent sacrifice but also an important part of helping him stay confident on the path he has chosen," shared Ms. Chu Thi Khuyen, wife of worker Dinh Van Thach (Hoang Hoa Power Company).

As the mother of worker Luong Ba Thanh (Thanh Hoa City Power Company), Ms. Do Thi Lua understands better than anyone the hardships and dangers her son faces every day. For her, every time she sees her son put on his protective clothing and worker's helmet, she feels both proud and apprehensive. The work of an electrician not only requires high expertise but also carries many risks. Just one moment of carelessness can have unforeseen consequences. Therefore, she always carefully instructs her son before he goes to work, reminding him not to be complacent and to strictly adhere to safety procedures to protect not only himself but also his colleagues.

"As long as my child is safe, nothing else matters to me..." - These words from Mrs. Lua reflect the heartfelt sentiments of countless mothers, wives, and fathers whose children work in the electricity industry. They cannot accompany their children to the field, nor can they shield them from danger, but they are always a strong support system and a driving force for every electricity worker to be more aware of safety, ensuring that every day at work is a safe return home.

And there were many more shared thoughts from the relatives of workers and employees, all of whom wished that their loved ones would continue to maintain their determination, keep their passion for their profession alive, and always adhere to safety procedures and measures while working and commuting, so that they could return home safely and healthily every day after work.

Enhance safety controls

Every electrical worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory of all.

Director of Thanh Hoa Power Company, Hoang Hai, met with and shared information about safety with the workers.

As a crucial part of its occupational safety improvement program, Thanh Hoa Power Company has implemented a series of rigorous inspection and monitoring measures to ensure that every employee strictly adheres to safety procedures while working. Following written directives, the company continuously organizes on-site inspections, not only for monitoring but also to motivate and remind employees to enhance their sense of responsibility and strictly follow safety procedures. The leadership directly inspects the work sites, witnesses workers reading safety pledges, practicing pole climbing, handling incidents, and reviewing each work order to avoid errors. They also emphasize: "Every time you climb a power pole, think of your family – Don't let a moment of carelessness turn into pain for those you love!"

Every electrical worker is a hero, but safety is the greatest victory of all.

The company inspects workers practicing pole climbing on-site - This is one of the important tasks that units need to maintain and regularly organize.

"Meeting and exchanging views with the families and relatives of workers and employees," and the ongoing efforts within Thanh Hoa Power Company regarding safety, have demonstrated the core value of the power industry: Occupational safety is not just a principle, but a matter of survival. Through this, from leaders to workers, from organizations to families, everyone carries a common message – safety is not just a slogan, but must become a principle of life, a habit in every action. And above all, it is a commitment for every power worker to "Work safely – Go home safely," continuing to uphold the mission of bringing light to every home.
