On the morning of October 16th, the quarterly press briefing for media agencies under the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front was held in Hanoi . The conference was chaired by Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and Mr. Vu Van Tien, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The press agency has successfully fulfilled its political mission.
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Vu Van Tien stated that in the first eight months of 2025, the press agencies under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front had seriously implemented the restructuring and streamlining of their organizational apparatus in accordance with Resolution No. 18 and Decision No. 34 of the Politburo .
Seven major media outlets have made efforts to merge, dissolve, and restructure departments and streamline staffing. Professionally, these media outlets have successfully fulfilled their political tasks, adhering to their principles and objectives, and effectively publicizing important political events of the country.

The press has actively reported on anti-corruption efforts, administrative reforms, and patriotic emulation movements. In particular, the flexibility in digital transformation and the application of modern technology to produce multimedia products on social media platforms have created a strong ripple effect.

The press plays a crucial role in maintaining political and social stability.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Ha Thi Nga shared the difficulties and highly appreciated the role of the press in the past period. According to Ms. Nga, press agencies have truthfully and comprehensively reflected all aspects of social life, especially the difficulties and shortcomings after implementing the new organizational model.
In particular, the press has played a crucial role in maintaining political and social stability, guiding public opinion, and promoting the strength of national unity. Despite facing many challenges, press agencies have consistently upheld their principles and objectives, fulfilling their political duties and maintaining autonomy, which is a truly commendable achievement.
Ms. Nga also highly appreciated the role of the press in reflecting the diverse and multifaceted results of activities and the participation of various segments of the population, such as youth, women, farmers, and veterans.

Regarding future directions, Ms. Nga suggested that media agencies continue to innovate even more strongly to improve operational efficiency and affirm their role and influence in society. One of the key tasks is to implement the conclusions on soliciting public opinion to contribute to the building of the Party and government. The press needs to promptly reflect the momentum and spirit of innovation in the congresses of the Fatherland Front and political and social organizations at all levels.
According to Ms. Nga, in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to pay attention to, lead, and direct, and together with political and social organizations, create the most favorable conditions to further promote the role of the press agencies.
