On the morning of October 16, in Hanoi , the third quarter press conference of press agencies under the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee took place. Chairing the conference were Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Vu Van Tien, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.

The press agency has fulfilled its political tasks well.
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Vu Van Tien said that in the first 8 months of 2025, the press agencies under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have seriously implemented the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18 and Decision No. 34 of the Politburo .
Seven important press agencies have made efforts to merge, dissolve and restructure departments and offices, and streamline staff. In terms of expertise, the press agencies have successfully completed their political tasks, closely following their principles and goals, and effectively propagating the country's major political events.

The press has actively reported on anti-corruption work, administrative reform and patriotic emulation movements. In particular, the flexibility in digital transformation and the application of modern technology to produce multimedia products on social networking platforms has created a strong ripple effect.

The press makes an important contribution to maintaining political and social stability.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Ha Thi Nga shared the difficulties and highly appreciated the role of the press in the past time. According to Ms. Nga, the press agencies have honestly and comprehensively reflected all aspects of social life, especially the difficulties and problems after implementing the new organizational model.
In particular, the press has made an important contribution to maintaining political and social stability, orienting public opinion and promoting the strength of national solidarity. Despite facing many challenges, press agencies have still carried out their principles and purposes, completed their political tasks and achieved autonomy, which is a very proud effort.
Ms. Nga also appreciated the role of the press in reflecting diversely and multi-dimensionally the results of activities and the participation of people from different walks of life such as youth, women, farmers, and veterans.

Regarding the orientation in the coming time, Ms. Nga suggested that press agencies continue to innovate more strongly to improve operational efficiency, affirming their role and influence in society. One of the key tasks is to implement the conclusion on collecting public opinions to contribute to Party and government building. The press needs to promptly reflect the momentum and spirit of innovation in the congresses of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels.
According to Ms. Nga, in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to pay attention, lead, direct and, together with socio-political organizations, create the most favorable conditions to promote more strongly the role of press agencies.
