Speaking to reporters of the Investment Electronic Newspaper - Baodautu.vn, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan said that after the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 was approved, Khanh Hoa province is focusing on reviewing and adjusting urban and rural planning, and planning of a technical nature to ensure consistency and synchronization of the Provincial Planning.

At the same time, Khanh Hoa province will effectively implement regional development and linkage policies; programs and projects to deploy planning, identify priority investment projects, and submit for approval land use plans for the 2021-2025 period and the 2026-2030 period.

To attract large investment projects and strategic investors, in 2024, Khanh Hoa province will continue to improve existing foundations, based on the province's potential strengths.

Mr. Tuan said that, firstly, Khanh Hoa province will establish a Plan to implement the planning, 5-year and annual plans, key development programs, and specific projects to implement the Planning; research, develop, promulgate or submit to competent authorities to promulgate mechanisms and policies suitable to development requirements and in accordance with the provisions of law to mobilize resources to implement the Planning.

Second, Khanh Hoa province focuses on completing important specialized technical plans of the province, including: adjusting the General Planning for Nha Trang City construction to 2040; adjusting the General Planning for Van Phong Economic Zone to 2040, with a vision to 2050 and the General Planning for Cam Lam New Urban Area to 2045. At the same time, the province will complete zoning plans in accordance with the Provincial Planning and approved General Planning as a basis for calling for investment and implementing projects.

Third, the locality will continue to implement solutions to reform administrative procedures and improve the PCI competitiveness index, including a number of specific breakthrough solutions.

That is to put into operation the Public Administrative Service Center associated with the Online Public Administrative Service Portal in the direction of "one-stop, on-site" from 2023; build an Investment Promotion Information Portal to further enhance the quality of information provision for investors as mentioned above, deploy the DDCI District and Department Competitiveness Assessment Index from 2023, adjust the role and functions of the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center under the Department of Planning and Investment together with the establishment of a Provincial Steering Committee on investment support and promotion, aiming not only to speed up investment procedures but also to strengthen the role of business support and development connection during the operation of enterprises.

Fourth, Khanh Hoa province will strengthen mechanisms for contact and dialogue with businesses in person and on digital platforms, in order to promptly remove obstacles in investment and business.

Fifth, Khanh Hoa province will speed up the progress of important infrastructure projects of strategic connectivity to create favorable business conditions for investors.

Sixth, Khanh Hoa province continues to call for projects providing high-quality social infrastructure services such as international hospitals, expanding the network of major university branches, high-quality vocational training centers, and soon establishing a Software Technology Center to attract experts to work, train human resources in science and technology, and form a science and technology ecosystem in the province, in order to provide technological solutions in production as well as provide high-quality human resources for investors.

Seventh, Khanh Hoa province will continue to improve its leadership and management capacity, especially promoting the role of leaders in implementing tasks and strategies set for each industry and field, combining the role of national digital transformation with platforms serving businesses and management work.

Eighth, Khanh Hoa province will strengthen inspection, examination and control of project progress to promptly handle projects that are behind schedule and do not comply with legal regulations.
