
In Hoa Cuong Ward, the Ward Youth Union recently held a conference to disseminate and educate the law to more than 200 union members, youth and students in the area. The conference focused on the topics of crime prevention, drug prevention and traffic safety.
Mr. Le Vien Thanh, Secretary of the Hoa Cuong Ward Youth Union, said that the program not only provides legal knowledge but also helps union members and young people improve their vigilance and crime prevention skills, while actively participating in denouncing crimes and supporting the authorities in preventing and combating social evils.
Sharing after the training session, member Ngo Thanh Van (residing in group 53) said: “We were equipped with a lot of useful knowledge, especially skills in handling situations when encountering criminals and how to participate in traffic safely. This helps us to be more confident in life and know how to live responsibly towards ourselves as well as society.”
In Nong Son commune, the Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Commune Police to organize training for more than 100 union members and young people on practical topics such as: traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention, drug prevention, cyber security law and anti-fraud skills.
Major Le Xuan Dai, Deputy Chief of Commune Police, emphasized: "Through the program, young people will understand the law, live by the law, proactively protect themselves and contribute to building a safe and civilized locality."
According to Mr. Vu Kim Ngoc, Secretary of the Nong Son Commune Youth Union, the training session helped union members and young people identify common causes of traffic accidents and the serious consequences that society must bear. At the same time, it pointed out common traffic law violations among teenagers such as driving underage, drinking alcohol while driving, etc.
Not only at the grassroots level, legal propaganda activities are also widely deployed in many fields.
The Traffic Police Department coordinated with the City Police's Internal Security Department and the City Buddhist Family Division to organize a propaganda session on traffic safety laws for 425 inmates at Dieu Dinh camp, Quang Minh pagoda (Hoa Khanh ward).
Here, the Traffic Police Department's reporter provided practical knowledge and safe driving skills, and distributed 200 propaganda documents to the campers.
According to the Traffic Police Department, City Police, the program helps Buddhist youth not only understand and act correctly when participating in traffic, but also contributes to building the image of young people living "a good life and a good religion".
