Following the directives of the Provincial Social Policy Bank, the Tan Son District Social Policy Bank branch proactively coordinated with the People's Committees of communes and entrusted socio -political organizations to implement support policies for borrowers at the Social Policy Bank branches in communes of Tan Son district affected by natural disasters, as stipulated.
Representatives from the Tan Son District Branch of the Vietnam Social Security Bank presented gifts to customers as support.
Immediately after reviewing customers affected by the natural disaster, the District Branch of the Social Policy Bank temporarily suspended interest collection for 131 borrowers who suffered losses from Typhoon No. 3 from the time of impact until December 31, 2024. They also extended loan repayment periods and provided supplementary loans to customers facing difficulties, hoping that affected people would quickly overcome the damage, restore production and business, and stabilize their lives. In addition, the branch organized visits and provided support to 4 customers whose houses were damaged in the communes of Thu Ngac, My Thuan, and Kim Thuong.
This is a humane policy that helps households currently borrowing from banks reduce their financial burden and supports people affected by the aftermath of typhoon No. 3 who need new loans to restore production.
