On the afternoon of June 29th, the admissions council of the University of Science (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) announced the cut-off scores for admission through three early application methods.
The benchmark score is determined by the method of evaluating competency assessment exam results.
According to school representatives, the cut-off scores for early admission methods have increased in many majors, ranging from 20 to 50 points compared to last year.
Specifically, using the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test score method, the cutoff score for the Computer Science major (advanced program) is 1,035 points out of 1,200. This is the highest admission score ever recorded for this method within the entire National University of Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, the school has announced the cutoff scores for the following admission methods:
Method 2 prioritizes direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
Method 4 involves admission based on the results of the aptitude test administered by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
Method 6 involves admission based on international foreign language certificates combined with high school results.
