On October 24th, the National Assembly devoted most of its time to personnel matters.

According to the planned agenda for the 10th session, on October 24th, the National Assembly will discuss in the plenary hall several issues with differing opinions regarding the draft Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended) and personnel matters.

During the morning session, the National Assembly heard a report presented by Standing Committee member Duong Thanh Binh on the explanation, acceptance, and revision of the draft Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended).

Following that, the National Assembly discussed in the plenary session several contentious issues in the draft Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended). Next, Standing Committee member of the National Assembly Duong Thanh Binh explained and clarified some issues raised by National Assembly deputies.

During the afternoon session, the National Assembly held a closed-door meeting on personnel matters.

Previously, in the session on October 23, the National Assembly discussed in committees: the draft Law on Bankruptcy (amended); the draft Law on Deposit Insurance (amended); the draft Law on the Press (amended); the draft Law on Population; and the draft Law on Disease Prevention.
