Tomorrow, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway will start construction to celebrate the establishment of the new Lam Dong province.

Lam Dong Province's Traffic Project Management Board has just provided information about the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model (phase 1).

Accordingly, the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model (phase 1) was approved by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council in its investment policy in Resolution No. 151/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2022 and adjusted in its investment policy in Resolution No. 366/NQ-HDND dated November 21, 2024.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee approved the Project in Decision No. 669/QD-UBND dated March 31, 2025. Specifically, the Project has a length of about 73.62 km; the scale of phase 1 is the roadbed width of 17 m, 4 lanes, and the arrangement of intermittent emergency lanes; the completed phase has the roadbed width Bnền = 24.75 m, with 2 emergency lanes; the arrangement of construction items serving the exploitation and operation of the expressway, including: Intelligent Traffic Control Center, Non-stop Electronic Toll Station, Rest Stop Station, Vehicle Load Control Works, etc., ensuring synchronization and efficiency according to current standards and regulations.

The total investment is about 17,718 billion VND. Of which, the State budget capital is about 7,761 billion VND, accounting for 43.8% of the total investment (including: local budget allocated 5,261 billion VND, central budget 2,500 billion VND); the capital mobilized by investors is about 9,957 billion VND, accounting for about 56.2% of the total investment.

The total area of land clearance of the Project according to the scale of the complete phase is about 610 hectares. Of which, Bao Loc city is about 37 hectares; Bao Lam district is about 57 hectares; Di Linh district is about 305 hectares; Duc Trong district is about 211 hectares.

Particularly, the area of occupied production forest land of 2.91 ha has been approved by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council to change the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement the project in Resolution 336/NQHDND dated November 21, 2024 and the area of rice land of about 8.68 ha has been approved by the Provincial People's Council to change the purpose of rice land to other purposes to implement the project in Resolution 172/NQ-HDND dated March 7, 2023.

The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project is implemented in Bao Loc city and the districts of Bao Lam, Di Linh, Duc Trong. The project implementation period is from 2022 - 2027; completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2027.

After approving the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee directed relevant departments, branches and agencies to urgently carry out the next steps to organize construction and put it into operation and exploitation.

Up to now, the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project has basically completed the site clearance work in the field; the localities where the project passes through have issued land recovery notices and are organizing site clearance to hand over to the investor for construction; completed the bidding procedures to select investors, approved the results of the investor selection as the Joint Venture of T&T Transport Infrastructure Investment and Development Company Limited - Phuong Trang Group Investment Joint Stock Company - FUTA GROUP - Phuong Thanh Transport Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (T&T Transport Infrastructure Joint Venture - FUTA GROUP - Phuong Thanh); completed the site clearance work at the Project's Intersection with National Highway 27 in N'Thol Ha Commune, Duc Trong District and handed over to the investor.

To contribute to the province's programs and activities to celebrate the establishment of the new Lam Dong province, create excitement and confidence among the people, and promote the province's economic development; based on the review of the conditions for starting the Project, the Department of Finance and related departments, branches, sectors and units have agreed to propose the Provincial People's Committee to organize the Project's groundbreaking ceremony on June 29, 2025, at the intersection of the Project with National Highway 27, in N'Thol Ha commune, Duc Trong district. The event is expected to have about 300 guests.
