"In general, the supply of agricultural products is relatively abundant, meeting consumer demand during the Lunar New Year. However, it is forecasted that people's spending this year will not increase dramatically, because the current consumption trend is simple and frugal.
Up to now, according to updated information from businesses such as supermarkets, retail groups, wholesale markets... the amount of agricultural products serving Tet is quite abundant and diverse, there has been no shortage of goods or price fever.
Enterprises and distributors are required to be proactive in coordinating goods, not allowing hoarding and price increases before, during and after Tet" - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development commented.
