Taking place from October 27th to November 3rd at the Dong Nai Provincial Gymnasium, the 2024 National Strong Teams Table Tennis Tournament features 28 teams from various provinces and cities across the country. As expected by fans, returning after a long break due to injury, table tennis player Nguyen Duc Tuan (who previously achieved a feat by winning the men's singles championship at the SEA Games 31) made an impressive comeback, helping the Hai Duong table tennis team win first place overall with 2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.

Notably, both of Hai Duong's gold medals were largely thanks to the contributions of Nguyen Duc Tuan. He, along with Doan Ba Tuan Anh and Nguyen Duy Phong, won the gold medal in the team event, and he and female player Bui Ngoc Lan won the gold medal in the mixed doubles event. In the men's singles event, unfortunately, Duc Tuan only won the silver medal after losing to Vietnam's number one player, Nguyen Anh Tu, in the final.

In the women's team event, the Ho Chi Minh City team, with a lineup of three strong players Mai Hoang My Trang, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, and Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu, won the gold medal after a convincing 3-0 victory over the Army women's team.

In the men's doubles event, Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc defeated the pair Nguyen Duc Tuan and Doan Ba Tuan to win the gold medal. Meanwhile, Tran Mai Ngoc and Nguyen Thuy Kieu My helped CAND-T&T win the gold medal in the women's doubles with a thrilling victory over the pair Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Nguyen Bach Thanh Thu with a score of 3-2.

In the men's singles event, Vietnam's number one player Nguyen Anh Tu continued his strong form to win the gold medal, while Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh remained dominant in the women's singles event, defeating her teammate from Ho Chi Minh City in the final.
