List of medals won by Vietnamese athletes at the SEA Games 33 on December 12:

Gold medal (1): Le Thi Mong Tuyen - Nguyen Tam Quang (Shooting - 10 m mixed team rifle).

Bronze medal (1) : Can Van Thang (Ju-jitsu - 62kg men), Nguyen Tat Loc (Ju-jitsu - 77kg men).

After two days of competition at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand, Vietnamese sports ranked second with 14 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 27 bronze medals, creating a favorable psychological momentum for the following days of competition.

The December 12th competition schedule offers new hope for Vietnamese sports, with a host of familiar faces such as Nguyen Huy Hoang and Nguyen Hung Nguyen (swimming), Dinh Phuong Thanh (gymnastics), and Huynh Thi My Tien (athletics) competing simultaneously.

In swimming, the spotlight is on Nguyen Huy Hoang in the men's 1,500m freestyle and the duo Hung Nguyen - Quang Thuan in the 400m individual medley, along with the women's group including Vo Thi My Tien and Kha Nhi competing in the 100m and 400m freestyle events.

Athletics is anticipating surprises in the women's 100m hurdles with Huynh Thi My Tien, the men's high jump with Vu Duc Anh, and the 400m and 1500m events.

Martial arts continued to be a strong point, with judo, ju-jitsu, and karate featuring many finals. Gymnastics focused on Dinh Phuong Thanh and Quynh Nam competing on the horizontal bar, parallel bars, and vault.

Team sports, women's futsal, women's volleyball, baseball, and sepak takraw are all entering crucial matches, offering opportunities to advance further if they maintain their form. Sports such as shooting, canoeing, rowing, golf, climbing, and ice skating also offer hope for medal contention for Vietnamese sports.
