According to the plan, in the early spring of Giap Thin year 2024, the Department of Transport and other units will plant more than 600 blue fins (nacre and black star) along managed routes, such as National Highway 15B, National Highway 281, National Highway 8C...
After planting, the Department of Transport recommends that units protect and care for the trees to ensure good growth and development.
Responding to the movement "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho", the Command of Coast Guard Region 1 has just launched a tree planting campaign in the early spring of Giap Thin year 2024. After the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers of Squadron 102 simultaneously planted more than 500 trees of all kinds.
In particular, the unit coordinated with local people to plant more than 400 new yellow bell flowers on roads with a length of more than 2km around Xuan Pho commune.
It is known that from 2021 to 2023, Squadron 102 has planted more than 5,000 trees of all kinds in the unit's premises as well as in the areas where the unit is stationed, especially in the areas of 9 coastal communes of Nghi Xuan district; contributing to natural disaster prevention and control, climate regulation, and improving the ecological environment.
