Many models or movements to protect national security in Soc Trang

According to the Steering Committee, the police at all levels in Soc Trang province organized 7,866 propaganda sessions, with 172,272 attendees; and implemented various forms of propaganda attracting tens of thousands of people. Through these sessions, the public provided more than 1,000 valuable pieces of information, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area.

Soc Trang has 40 types of security and order assurance models within the "All People Protect National Security" movement, implemented at 603 locations, including 8 exemplary models. Notably, the "5 No's and 3 Yes's" model at Huynh Cuong School has been recognized and evaluated by the Ministry of Public Security as an effective model that has been replicated in other schools.

Awards of commendation were presented to collectives with outstanding achievements in participating in the protection of national security.

Implementing the nationwide program to support the poor, the Soc Trang Provincial Police Department advised and proposed to the Minister of Public Security to mobilize support of 60 billion VND, with the province contributing an additional 15.6 billion VND to build 1,200 houses for poor people and those facing housing difficulties in the province.

The Steering Committee has outlined six key areas to effectively implement the "All People Protect National Security" movement and the "National Security Protection Day" in Soc Trang province in the coming period.

The Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police Department presented certificates of commendation to outstanding collectives.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Hoang Cong Thuy, suggested that Soc Trang province continue to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and society to participate in building the movement for all citizens to protect national security; and focus on making the event in residential areas, agencies, businesses, and educational institutions increasingly practical and effective.

At the same time, strengthen coordination between the police and forces participating in protecting national security at the grassroots level with the Fatherland Front at all levels in building the movement of "All People Protecting National Security". Mobilize the people and ethnic minorities to actively participate in activities to maintain peace in villages and residential areas; identify and build exemplary collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to protect national security.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 10 gifts to families in difficult circumstances; the Ministry of Public Security awarded certificates of merit to one collective and one individual; the People's Committee of Soc Trang province awarded certificates of merit to 26 collectives and individuals; and the Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police awarded certificates of commendation to many collectives and individuals.
