Sharing the main results of the Dalian WEF Conference and Vietnam's outstanding mark, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said that the Prime Minister's working trip was a great success, a practical step in implementing the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress.
The conference attracted the participation of 1,700 delegates, and was a place to gather and create new ideas, new fields, pioneering and creative models that will shape future economic sectors.
According to him, the Vietnamese delegation left outstanding impressions at the Conference.

First of all, the host country China as well as the Conference Organizing Committee expressed their respect and high appreciation for the role and position of Vietnam.
Therefore, WEF has invited the Prime Minister to attend consecutive WEF conferences in Tianjin (China) in 2023, WEF in Davos (Switzerland) in early 2024 and this time WEF in Dalian (China).
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was one of two heads of state/government invited by WEF and the host country China to attend the Conference. At this Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation brought many important messages to the port city of Dalian, both at the Conference and in meetings with partners.
Another highlight was the special speech at the Opening Plenary Session, in front of about 1,700 guests from 80 countries, where the Prime Minister shared Vietnam's inspiring story of Innovation, Integration and Development.
The Prime Minister also conveyed profound and clear messages about the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, the policies, visions and strategic orientations for national development of the Party and State of Vietnam. Through this, we also affirmed the role and position of Vietnam in the international arena.
The Prime Minister exchanged profound views on the current and future world, proposing to work together to build and strengthen trust, promote dialogue, and have a new approach and mindset for global cooperation.
Within the framework of the Conference, the Prime Minister also had open, sincere and in-depth exchanges with partners and businesses, demonstrating Vietnam's spirit of innovation and determination in transforming the growth model and creating a favorable environment for investors.
WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab praised Vietnam as a dynamic economy, a beacon of economic development and a growth engine of the region.
“The Prime Minister’s sharing was highly appreciated by the business community partners, demonstrated through their excitement, interest, and desire to invest and do business in Vietnam, especially in new sectors. The atmosphere of the discussions was very exciting and enthusiastic, promising many opportunities to expand and establish partnerships, investment, and production in Vietnam,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Consider the development of bilateral relations as a "systemic project"
Regarding Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's talks, meetings, and work in China, according to the leader of the diplomatic sector, during the working trip, the Prime Minister had a very rich bilateral activity program, including meetings and talks with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council Li Qiang, Chairman of the National People's Congress Wang Huning, etc.
The activities of the Delegation were successful, achieving the set requirements and goals. The results and significance of the talks and meetings with high-ranking Chinese leaders were clearly demonstrated in four aspects.

First of all, it is necessary to maintain regular high-level strategic exchanges between the two Parties and two countries, consolidate and enhance political trust between the two sides, and promote the important guiding role in the development of bilateral relations.
In addition, the two sides had in-depth discussions and agreed on specific directions and measures to promote cooperation in various fields in the coming time.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the connection between the “Two Corridors, One Belt” framework and the “Belt and Road” initiative, especially in terms of transport infrastructure; speed up railway connections in border areas, and promote cooperation in developing a number of standard gauge railway lines in the northern region of Vietnam.
At the same time, the two sides agreed to further promote trade cooperation, especially agricultural trade; exchange measures to improve customs clearance efficiency, upgrade border gate infrastructure, research and promote the construction of smart border gates and border economic cooperation zones.

Work together to thoroughly resolve problems in a number of cooperation projects and speed up the implementation of China's non-refundable aid to Vietnam.
The two sides also promote high-quality Chinese investment in Vietnam, especially in areas such as transport infrastructure construction, green economy, digital economy, renewable energy, clean energy; strengthen cooperation in sustainable tourism, and train high-quality human resources.
Expanding cooperation in the fields of health, education, science and technology, finance and banking, etc. It can be said that the fields of cooperation between the two sides are very comprehensive, with rich and substantial content.
The two sides also continuously consolidate a solid social foundation for the development of bilateral relations, considering this a "systemic project" to diligently promote the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China.
The two sides will make efforts to effectively implement and improve the effectiveness of friendly exchange mechanisms such as the People's Forum, the Border People's Festival, the Youth Friendship Meeting, and the Vietnam-China Youth Festival; China will soon provide 1,000 scholarships for Vietnamese Chinese teachers; promote the traditional friendship of the two Parties and two countries; and promote the restoration of cooperation in tourism and aviation.
Finally, handle disagreements properly and together maintain a peaceful and stable environment.
The two sides agreed to coordinate well in land border management, organize well the activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Land Border Treaty and the 15th anniversary of the signing of three legal documents on the Vietnam-China land border in 2024.
The two sides also agreed to continue to strictly implement the agreements and common perceptions of the Senior Leaders, comply with international law, effectively control and properly handle disagreements, not allowing disagreements to affect the overall relations between the two countries, contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world.
