100% of undergraduate majors have jobs

(NLDO) - This year's graduation ceremony of Hoa Sen University impressed with 10 majors achieving a 100% employment rate for students before graduation.

On July 3rd and 4th, Hoa Sen University held its 2025 graduation ceremony at Ben Thanh Theater for nearly 1,500 graduates across 27 training programs.

This year, Hoa Sen University has reaped many rewards in terms of training quality.

Impressive numbers

At this graduation ceremony, 721 graduates achieved excellent and outstanding grades. Of these, 98 students achieved outstanding grades (7%) and 622 students achieved good grades (42%).

According to statistics from the Student Experience and Business Relations Center of Hoa Sen University in June 2025, 95% of students had secured full-time employment before graduation; in many majors, more than 50% of students work in foreign-owned or internationally affiliated companies.

Notably, many fields of study achieved a 100% employment rate for graduates, such as interior design, graphic design, fashion design, tourism and travel service management, accounting, digital art, event management, etc. Of these, 75-100% of graduates found employment in their field of study.

"During my internship in the US, I learned countless new things. That year was filled with many first-time experiences," shared Vo Phuong Nghi, valedictorian of the hotel management program.

Many students find employment at large businesses and corporations across various sectors, such as Shopee, Momo, TC DATA, FPT Group, OPPO Vietnam, Shinhan Vietnam, Agribank , MB Bank, Saigon Tourist, New World Saigon Hotel, Hilton Saigon Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Coca Cola Vietnam, Lotte Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines Corporation, UNIQLO Vietnam, etc.

In addition, many students choose to continue their postgraduate studies in the UK, the US, France, Canada, Australia, China, or choose to start their own businesses.

At the graduation ceremony , Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Hoa Sen University and a former student of the 1991 cohort in Management Informatics, gave a moving and inspiring speech to many of the new graduates.

Mr. Viet expressed his gratitude and thanks for the presence and support of parents throughout the students' four-year academic journey. Nothing is more joyful for parents than seeing their children officially mature, step out into the world, and create their own lives and families.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Hoa Sen University, shared his entrepreneurial journey.

"Throughout my life, I've realized that the most precious friendships are always those I had in school. They are the most close, selfless, and genuine friendships."

"I hope you will set aside trivial matters of outward appearances and share your feelings with your friends before entering a new phase of your life. When we go through life's ups and downs, we will see that spiritual values, connection, and compassion for one another are far more important than material possessions," Mr. Viet advised.

In early 1991, Hoa Sen University – then Hoa Sen School of Information Technology and Management – ​​began admitting its first cohort of students. Mr. Viet took the aptitude test for admission but did not pass.

A few months later, he tried again and was fortunate enough to be accepted as a student in Management Information Systems. After two years of study, Quoc Viet began building his career based on what he had learned.

"I am a Hoa Sen University alumnus but haven't had the opportunity to contribute to the university as an alumnus. On this occasion, I would like to give a meaningful gift to the graduates: the graduation gowns you are wearing, with the hope that you will always remember the university on your journey ahead," Mr. Viet expressed.

In addition, after the graduation ceremony, the school will organize a "concert" - a reunion of Hoa Sen alumni from all generations. This will be a gathering of tens of thousands of alumni, where those who came before can share their experiences and guide those who come after to progress together. At this event, students will have the opportunity to meet their senior alumni without any barriers.
