Video of Delegate Ly Thi Lan sharing:
Quickly adapt and respond to practical requirements.
Representative Ly Thi Lan, from the Tuyen Quang National Assembly Delegation, stated: "The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly was a special session with a large volume of legislative work. The session passed 51 draft laws and 39 resolutions. This is a huge amount of work and reflects the transformation of the National Assembly's activities in implementing Resolution 66-NQ/TW of 2025 on reforming the work of lawmaking and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era. The volume of legislation passed demonstrates professionalism, quick adaptation, and the National Assembly's collaboration with the Government to meet practical requirements in this period."
Sharing this view, Delegate Hoang Van Cuong, from the Hanoi City Delegation, stated: “The session aims to resolve many institutional bottlenecks. The promulgation of new legal regulations creates a foundation for the legal framework serving development in the 2025-2030 period, laying the groundwork for thinking, approaches, and legislative mechanisms so that the 16th National Assembly can carry out its work more smoothly and effectively.”
Looking at major policy decisions that directly impact socio-economic development, Representative Nguyen Manh Tien, from the Tay Ninh National Assembly Delegation, emphasized that the recent resolutions demonstrate the determination of the Party and State for the coming period. This includes the preparation of infrastructure such as high-speed rail and nuclear power. Entering the next phase, infrastructure must change and require focused investment policies. This is something the National Assembly has carefully considered, making humane decisions directly related to people's lives, especially regarding tuition fee exemptions and healthcare policies to ensure people's health...
Video of Representative Tran Thi Thu Hang, Lam Dong Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly, sharing her thoughts:
Expectations for consistent and effective policy implementation.
Representative Tran Thi Thu Hang, from the Lam Dong Provincial National Assembly Delegation, stated: "The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly has basically completed the laws and their contents, creating a foundation for the country's development in the coming time. The session also made appropriate adjustments to the schedule to allow representatives with concurrent positions to address local issues. This ensured both the session's time allocation and the quality and proportion of National Assembly representatives contributing opinions on laws and resolutions. At the same time, National Assembly representatives were able to raise the concerns of constituents, resolve obstacles and inadequacies in decrees and circulars, ensuring changes are in line with the practical situation. Furthermore, it helps ministries, agencies, organizations, and individuals to implement these changes more effectively."
Speaking about future expectations, Delegate Tran Thi Thu Hang hoped that the implementation of laws and resolutions would be based on consensus from top to bottom, avoiding situations where each ministry and sector has a different interpretation during the implementation process.
"Each National Assembly delegate continues to bear the highest responsibility as a bridge between voters and the National Assembly, conveying the voice of the people and addressing outstanding issues in projects to help voters resolve them; promoting the participation of the Government, ministries, and agencies; preventing complaints from escalating to higher levels and large gatherings of people, and ensuring social welfare. With 80 years of formation and development, the National Assembly has continuously innovated to thrive in the new era, meeting expectations by placing the people and individuals at the center to build a strong National Assembly," emphasized Delegate Tran Thi Thu Hang.
The National Assembly has issued two specific resolutions for the two major cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, affirming its attention to these two large administrative units of the country. Creating opportunities for these two cities to make breakthroughs and develop all socio-economic sectors, along with the specific policies outlined in the resolutions, contributes to the overall economic growth of the country. Furthermore, the session also adopted humane policies that are closely related to people's lives, prioritizing the people and placing the development of healthcare and education as top priorities.
"To ensure the health and intellectual development of the people, I expect the two resolutions on health and education to be effectively implemented. At the same time, education needs investment in core areas, especially disadvantaged regions and ethnic minority communities. Children in disadvantaged and ethnic minority areas receive support in school health care, school milk, and vitamins, but with limited resources and scattered investment, the results haven't been as effective as expected. I hope future investments will be more focused and targeted, concentrating on core areas so that children in disadvantaged regions can develop to the same level as those in urban areas. Providing children with healthcare and free textbooks are practical activities that create conditions for them to continuously strive, become positive contributors to society, and fulfill the people's aspirations so they can focus on economic development and contribute to building the country," Representative Tran Thi Thu Hang emphasized.
