Sharing some of the profits from her trading, on the first days of the month, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao, Dao Thanh ward, and other female traders gather to cook free vegetarian porridge, full of love, to give to everyone to enjoy early in the morning.
Ms. Thao shared: "I contribute a little money and effort to cook dishes for the poor and disadvantaged. Doing something useful makes me feel very peaceful and happy."

Regardless of the distance, Ms. Vo Thi Huong from Vinh Long regularly goes to My Tho to support. The consensus of her family and the spirit of "giving is forever" are the motivation for her to stick with this charity activity. "Giving love to people in difficult circumstances makes me very happy. I hope the group will last a long time," Ms. Huong confided.
To prepare 500 portions of porridge for distribution each morning, the group of vendors must focus on preparing the ingredients from the day before. The working atmosphere is always bustling, everyone is urgently completing their tasks - some peel vegetables, some fry beans, some cut sausages... All have the same goal of bringing a pot of quality, nutritious porridge. "We always choose the best ingredients. I hope everyone enjoys the vegetarian porridge with a loaf of bread this morning," said Ms. Ho Thi Lan Anh (My Phong ward).

Not stopping at distributing porridge, the group of My Tho female traders also maintains cooking hot vegetarian meals, giving them away 4 times a month; in the spirit of volunteering, some contribute their efforts, some contribute their money; those who have better conditions share more, those who have more difficulties support with labor.
“Taking a portion of the profits to cook meals for hospital staff, lottery ticket sellers, and the homeless… makes me very happy. We all do it with the spirit of serving the community,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy (My Phong ward).
Warm porridge and vegetarian lunch boxes not only warm the hearts of the poor, but also touch their hearts with sincere care. The joy and gratitude of the recipients are the motivation for the sisters to continue maintaining this charitable model.

Ms. Kim Kieu Phuong (Cho Gao commune) was moved: "I often receive porridge here, it's delicious; it also helps with breakfast. As for Mr. Nguyen Van Tam (Binh Ninh commune), a lottery ticket seller, expressed: "Having charity meals helps the poor. Thank you very much."
The volunteerism of the My Tho women traders not only contributes to supporting the needy, but also strongly spreads the spirit of mutual love in the community. The free meals, though small, contain great love, reminding each of us to share to build a better life.
