There are only about 3 weeks left until the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year in Hanoi will officially take place. According to the schedule, the exam will be held on June 8 and 9.
According to information from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, for many years now, the city's public high school entrance exam has applied the regulations in the high school graduation exam regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
2024 is the first year of applying the new exam regulations with important adjustments to the list of items allowed in the exam room.
Accordingly, the list of items allowed to be brought into the examination room includes: Pens; rulers; pencils; erasers; squares; graphing rulers; drawing tools; handheld calculators without text editing functions and without memory cards; Vietnam Geography Atlas compiled according to the 2006 GeneralEducation Program (without markings or writing any other content).
In addition, candidates should also pay attention to the list of prohibited items to bring into the examination room. This is the first time the examination regulations clearly stipulate prohibited items to bring into the examination room, including: Carbon paper; correction pens; alcoholic beverages; weapons and explosives, flammable substances; documents, communication equipment (receiving, broadcasting information, recording audio, video) or containing information to cheat during the examination.
If a candidate brings unauthorized items into the exam room, he/she will be suspended from the exam. Suspended candidates will lose the right to participate in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2024-2025 school year.
