Exciting military handover festival in Son La

Attending the military handover ceremony were leaders of Military Region 2, leaders of Son La province, localities and a large number of people who came to encourage and congratulate the new recruits.

To carry out the target of selecting, calling citizens to join the army and perform their duties, the Military Service Councils at all levels in Son La province have directed the selection of citizens to join the army to be carried out strictly, openly, transparently, and in accordance with procedures, ensuring the quantity and quality of troops.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and leaders of Military Region 2 presented gifts to the units receiving soldiers.

With the motto "Recruiting the right people", the Party committees, authorities, Military Service Council and agencies, departments, branches and organizations of Son La province focus on leading and directing the promotion of propaganda work; strictly implementing the stages and steps in the process of selecting and calling citizens to join the army.

Leaders of Yen Chau district, Son La province presented flowers to encourage new recruits to join the army.

In 2024, Son La province will have thousands of young people joining the army, most of whom will join the military service, while the rest will join the people's police service. The selected new recruits all have a strong political ideology, good moral qualities and are healthy enough to train in the military environment.

Previously, to encourage young people to join the army, Party committees, authorities, organizations, agencies, departments, branches, unions, and people of districts and cities in the province visited, encouraged, gave savings books and gifts to new recruits.
