According to the Center for Agricultural Trade Promotion, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development , the launch ceremony for Vietnamese agricultural products on Chinese e-commerce platforms and social media will take place on November 20th.
This event is part of the framework Fair The 24th International Agricultural Exhibition (AgroViet 2024), organized by the Center for Agricultural Trade Promotion - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), is scheduled to take place from November 20-23.
According to the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, AgroViet 2024 is organized to promote and expand international economic cooperation and exchange, advertise brands and products, facilitate trade transactions, and honor agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, OCOP products, and specialties from localities across the country. This event also provides an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit domestic and export markets.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam has strong export potential, and it is projected that by the end of the year, the export value of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products will reach over 60 billion USD, significantly higher than the export value of previous years.

Mr. Dang Phuc Nguyen, General Secretary of the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association, stated: "Vietnam has many strengths in exporting agricultural products. For Vietnamese agricultural products to impress consumers, it is first necessary to improve product quality, invest in production and processing technology, and ensure food safety and hygiene. Once a product has an attractive design, it needs to be further developed." build brand reputation."
According to Mr. Nguyen, introducing Vietnamese agricultural products to e-commerce platforms and social network China has been successful in promoting international cooperation and linkages. Vietnamese agricultural products have all the conditions to go further in the international market, but to achieve effectiveness, businesses should link with local enterprises and cooperate on a mutually beneficial basis. Currently, the organizers of AgroViet 2024 have received registrations from nearly 100 domestic and international organizations, equivalent to 250 standard booths to date, including 99 booths from countries and territories such as China, Taiwan (China), Mongolia, South Korea, Australia, Russia, and Japan.
