Nong Son mobilized nearly 700 million VND for the Fund for the Poor

In 2024, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Nong Son district will promote the role of negotiating and assigning tasks between the Fatherland Front and its member organizations in carrying out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements. The Fatherland Front will diversify the forms of mobilizing the Fund for the Poor and mobilize nearly 700 million VND to support households in especially difficult circumstances.

The Front from district to grassroots level supported the elimination of 28 temporary houses with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND; coordinated, received and distributed support resources for the poor and people in especially difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 1.1 billion VND (more than 2,000 gifts); and awarded 20 livelihoods with a total amount of more than 90 million VND.

The district relief fund mobilized and received nearly 500 million VND to support natural disaster relief in the North; built 19 solidarity houses. The Front also organized many activities to contribute to solving urgent problems in real life; replicated economic development models, skillful mass mobilization models...

At the conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nong Son district commended 3 collectives and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in Front work in 2024.
