On October 25, continuing the program of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly , delegates voted to pass the Resolution to elect Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong as a member of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly. As a result, 442/442 delegates participating in the vote voted in favor.
Along with that is the Resolution to elect Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai as Chairman of the Science , Technology and Environment Committee of the 15th National Assembly; to elect Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong as Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee; to elect Mr. Le Quang Manh as Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office. As a result, 434/434 delegates participating in the vote approved.

Mr. Le Quang Manh (51 years old), from Hanoi . He worked for a long time at the Ministry of Planning and Investment from 1997 to 2018, held many positions, and became Deputy Minister of this Ministry in March 2018.
From 2019 to 2021, Mr. Manh was Chairman of the People's Committee and then Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee. In July 2021, he became a member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee; a delegate of the 15th National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Can Tho City.
In May 2023, Mr. Manh was elected by the National Assembly to hold the position of Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee.
Since February 2025, he has been a member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Economic and Financial Committee of the National Assembly.
In September 2025, Mr. Manh was transferred and appointed to the position of Permanent Deputy Head of the Office of the National Assembly; at the same time, he was assigned to direct and manage the activities of the Office of the National Assembly, performing the duties of Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the Office of the National Assembly until this position is completed.

In July 2021, Ms. Hai was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province.
In June 2024, she was appointed Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee after being elected by the National Assembly as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

In June 2024, Mr. Dong was mobilized and appointed by the Politburo as Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
In September 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued a resolution on the transfer and approval of Mr. Dong to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee of the 15th National Assembly.
