On the morning of July 25th, the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations organized a scientific workshop to review and propose policies to encourage tourism development in Thanh Hoa province, giai đoạn 2025-2030.
Overview of the conference
Based on the draft policy proposal and related documents sent by the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the province, and the opinions of the review council members and experts, the Union of Associations has compiled a research report (as an introduction) to serve the review workshop on "Policies to encourage tourism development in Thanh Hoa province, 2025-2030". The proposal for the issuance of a Resolution clearly states the necessity, legal basis; purpose and perspective in developing the Resolution; and the target and scope of application.

At the conference, delegates unanimously agreed to issue a Resolution on "Policies to encourage tourism development in Thanh Hoa province, 2025-2030"; they also suggested that some related contents need further clarification.

Specifically, the opinions suggest clarifying the drafting process and structure of the Resolution; the context of policy development; the necessity of its issuance and its impacts; the issues that need to be addressed for tourism development in the province; proposing solutions based on the policies, projects, and plans for tourism development in Thanh Hoa province until 2030 that have been issued; the costs and benefits of the solutions; the choice of solutions by agencies and organizations and the reasons for the choice...

At the same time, it is necessary to clarify the policies mentioned in the Submission and the draft Resolution, such as: supporting new investments or upgrading and renovating toilets to meet standards for businesses providing accommodation services with rooms for tourists to rent (homestay); supporting travel agencies to bring tourists to Thanh Hoa province...

The opinions of the members of the Scientific Review Council and expert groups serve as the basis for the drafting unit to revise and refine the content of the submission, ensuring its scientific validity and suitability to practical conditions, before submitting it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
