Launching a painting contest with the theme "Pride of my hometown Da Nang"

The contest is for students of secondary schools living and studying in Da Nang city; each school can participate with a maximum of 5 works. The works must express love for the homeland and country, especially the feelings and pride for Da Nang city; reflect the image of a friendly, modern, dynamic city, connected with nature, environment, sea and islands and people of Da Nang in studying, working, creating, building and protecting the homeland.

The works submitted for the competition are drawings on A2 paper (40x60cm), using free materials (colored pencils, colored powder, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylics, etc.). The works submitted for the competition must be new creations, never participated in or exhibited in any competitions, publications or mass media. Each entry must clearly state the title of the work, full name, date of birth, school, class, address and contact phone number of the author.

Works should be sent directly or by post to: Danang City Union of Literature and Arts Associations (address: K54/10 Ong Ich Khiem, Hai Chau Ward, Danang City; contact phone number: 0768 585 660 (Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Trang, Office specialist of the Union of Associations). The deadline for receiving works is from now until December 2, 2025 (based on the postmark). The contest has 34 awards; at the same time, it is expected that 200 best works will be selected for display at APEC Park. Authors whose paintings are selected for exhibition will receive a certificate from the organizing committee. The summary and award ceremony is expected to be held at the end of December 2025.

The children's painting contest and exhibition "Pride of my homeland Da Nang" is one of the activities in the series of events of the Da Nang Children's Painting Festival 2025 organized by the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City to foster love for the homeland, pride and creative inspiration in students.
