An Phu Ward was established by rearranging three existing administrative units: Thang Loi Ward, An Phu Commune, and Chu A Commune. The ward has a total natural area of 32.49 km2 and a population of 40,684 people, of which 30.44% are ethnic minorities.
An Phu ward has 9,145 households, including 26 poor households and 30 near-poor households. The An Phu ward Party Committee has 46 subordinate branches with 934 Party members. The total number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the ward is currently 70.
According to Comrade Luu Trung Nghia, Provincial Party Committee member and Secretary of the An Phu Ward Party Committee: Following the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, on June 26th and 27th, the An Phu Ward Party Committee organized and operated the mechanism for meetings of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee, and the Ward Party Committee, basically ensuring the content, program, and requirements were met.
On July 1st, the Ward Party Committee issued the Party Committee's Working Regulations, the Party Committee's Inspection Committee's Working Regulations, and the Decision establishing and defining the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Party Committee's advisory and support agencies. To date, the placement and arrangement of cadres and civil servants has been largely completed, ensuring organizational stability and effective operation.
Regarding the operations of the Public Administrative Service Center, from July 1st to July 10th, the unit received, processed, and resolved 291 applications. Of these, 133 applications were completed and returned on time, while 158 applications are currently being forwarded to relevant agencies for resolution. A preliminary assessment indicates a significant increase in the number of applications compared to before the merger.
At the meeting, after hearing the report from the leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of An Phu ward on the operational situation of the organizational structure, the assignment and placement of cadres, civil servants, and public employees after the merger; and the operation of the Public Administrative Service Center..., Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan requested: The team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of An Phu ward need to proactively grasp the work; promptly study the guiding documents and circulars from the Central Government and the province to apply them to practical work; and need to have solutions to develop An Phu ward to match its position as a central ward and a driving force for development of the province.
At the same time, the ward needs to seriously and fully prepare the necessary conditions for organizing the Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Chau Ngoc Tuan presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to the agencies and units of An Phu ward. During the working program, Comrade Chau Ngoc Tuan and the provincial delegation inspected the administrative procedure processing at the An Phu Ward Public Administrative Service Center.
