New Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 789 approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.

Previously, on July 31, at the 19th session (special session), the People's Council of Bac Ninh province, term XIX, 2021 - 2026, elected Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan was born on October 3, 1977, in Kinh Bac ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province. He has a PhD in Business Administration, Master of Education Management, Bachelor of Science in Social Management; Advanced Political Theory.

During his time working in Bac Ninh province, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan held the following positions: Chief of the Provincial Youth Union Office; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, then Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Secretary of the City Party Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On January 30, 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee.

On July 16, 2024, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan was assigned by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province to manage the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province until he fully assumed the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province.

On July 29, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan was elected Deputy Secretary of the 20th Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
