On the morning of April 26th, a provincial delegation led by Mr. Le Duc Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and presented gifts to Dien Bien Phu veterans, relatives of martyrs, former youth volunteers, and former civilian workers who directly participated in and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and are currently residing in Cam Thuy and Nhu Xuan districts.

In Cam Thuy district, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang and the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Mr. Bui Van San, who worships martyr Bui Van Hoi in Song Nga village, Cam Ngoc commune; former Youth Volunteer Luu Van Huynh (born in 1935) in Bac Son village, Cam Tu commune; and former Youth Volunteer Phung Ngoc Chuy (born in 1933) in Binh Xuyen village, Cam Tu commune.

In Nhu Xuan district, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang and the delegation visited and presented gifts to war invalid Duong Van Man (born in 1934) in Thang Binh neighborhood, Yen Cat town; the family of Mr. Tran Dinh Cuong, who worships martyr Tran Dinh Tam in Dong Thanh village, Thuong Ninh commune; and former Youth Volunteer Hoang Thi Thuan (born in 1931) in neighborhood 1, Yen Cat town.
During his visits to the families, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang inquired about the health and well-being of the Dien Bien Phu veterans, relatives of martyrs, former Youth Volunteers, and civilian workers on the front lines. He also informed the Dien Bien Phu veterans about the series of commemorative activities organized by Thanh Hoa province to mark the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
Expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the immense contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs and soldiers of Dien Bien Phu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang hoped that the families of policy beneficiaries would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, educate their children to carry on the traditions of their ancestors, and contribute their intellect and efforts to building a more civilized, prosperous, and beautiful homeland and country.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Party Committees and authorities of Cam Thuy and Nhu Xuan districts to continue to care for and effectively implement the "gratitude and repayment" work for families who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, including former Dien Bien Phu soldiers, former Youth Volunteers, and civilian workers who directly served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
