Here, the Deputy Secretary-General of UN Tourism, Ms. Zoritsa Urosevic, along with representatives from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and local authorities, performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to honor Tra Que vegetable village as the best tourist village of 2024, a title recently best received by UN Tourism.
During the tour, delegates immersed themselves in the tranquil countryside, surrounded by the fragrant aroma of herbs and spices; they experienced the activities of a rural market and the community life of the local people.
Simultaneously, visit ancient historical sites; learn about tourism information in the vegetable village; participate in folk games; experience the farming activities of Tra Que farmers and enjoy local cuisine at households in the village.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoi An City, this is a great opportunity to showcase the peaceful and unique rural image of Hoi An. This promises to open up positive prospects for image building, destination promotion, and the sustainable development of rural and community tourism in Hoi An, Quang Nam in the coming time.
