
At the Dien Bien province's meeting point, attendees included: Mua A Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Giang Thi Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Duc Toan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee… The conference was organized with connection points to Party committees directly under the province and at the commune level.
Delegates listened to President Vo Van Thuong's presentation on the topic "Continuing to promote the tradition of national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous, civilized, and happy"; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's presentation on the topic "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies to meet the requirements of national construction and defense in the new period"; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense, 's presentation on the topic "The strategy for national defense in the new situation"; and the presentation on the topic "Continuing to build a team of intellectuals to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period," along with guidance on the implementation of the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee Conference (13th term).
The conference aimed to disseminate the Resolution No. 8 of the 13th Central Committee to cadres and Party members nationwide, with the goal of raising awareness and responsibility among Party committees, organizations, cadres, and Party members in effectively implementing the viewpoints, objectives, tasks, and solutions outlined in the Resolution. This would contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.
The conference took place in 1.5 days, of which 1 day was for studying, grasping and learning the Resolution; 0.5 day was for provincial, municipal Party Committees and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee to contribute opinions to the action program to implement the Resolution.
