According to the plan, in this vaccination campaign, Quang Ha Commune Service Supply Center will organize the injection of 68,451 doses of vaccine for livestock and poultry in the whole commune. To effectively carry out the task of vaccinating livestock and poultry.
Previously, the Commune Service Supply Center coordinated with the veterinary force of the villages to conduct an inventory, review the total herd and report the number of animals to be vaccinated, ensuring that the preparation work was complete and accurate.
Veterinary officers will divide the area into each village and carry out mass vaccinations, including: Vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease for buffalo, cows, goats, sows, and boars; Vaccination against septicemia for buffalo and cows; Vaccination against lumpy skin disease for buffalo and cows; Vaccination against rabies for dogs and cats subject to mandatory vaccination.
When there is an epidemic, all susceptible livestock in the epidemic and threatened areas are vaccinated to control the outbreak. In addition, the commune also vaccinates poultry and waterfowl in the commune against HSN1 avian influenza according to regulations.

"During the implementation period from November 22 to November 26, 2025, the commune has vaccinated 23,200 doses of vaccine on livestock and poultry and currently the Center is continuing to deploy in the remaining villages, according to the plan to complete on December 20, 2025", said the leader of Quang Ha commune.
According to the staff of the Quang Ha Commune Service Center, the goal of the vaccination campaign is to ensure timely vaccination, correct technical procedures, safety and high efficiency; absolutely not allowing the spread of disease.
During the implementation process, the Commune Service Supply Center coordinated with the veterinary force, village chiefs and livestock households to organize mass vaccination, and at the same time synthesize and report daily progress. In addition, the unit also promoted propaganda work, helping people clearly understand the benefits of vaccination, proactively coordinating with the veterinary force to achieve good vaccination results.

Previously, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Quang Ninh province issued a document guiding and urging localities to proactively vaccinate and prevent hunger and cold for livestock to minimize damage in livestock production in the winter-spring crop of 2025 - 2026.
The Department requested to speed up the vaccination progress of the second phase in 2025 with all types of vaccines to prevent diseases: Avian influenza, foot and mouth disease, anthrax, lumpy skin disease in cattle, African swine fever to increase resistance for livestock.
Perform well the work of cleaning and disinfecting barns; regularly monitor the health status of livestock every day to have effective measures to handle when livestock show unusual signs due to hunger, cold or disease. When detecting diseases in livestock, immediately report to veterinary agencies and local authorities for timely handling measures.
Ms. Chu Thi Thu Thuy, Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ninh) said: In increasingly unusual weather conditions, if the vaccination rate on livestock herds is not continuously guaranteed and above 70%, it will not create natural herd immunity.
When herd immunity is weakened, the disease is at risk of breaking out on a large scale with many different variants. Therefore, localities must seriously carry out the work of checking the total herd and speed up the vaccination progress of livestock and poultry.
