Quang Nam supports 22 billion VND for northern provinces affected by storms and floods

On September 10, the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee agreed in principle to the proposal of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee on financial support for the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3. The total amount of support is 22 billion VND taken from the provincial budget.

Specifically, Quang Nam supported 17 provinces and cities including: Thai Binh, Yen Bai , Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Hai Duong, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi each locality 1 billion VND. Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city alone supported 2 billion VND/locality.

Quang Nam also agreed to support 1 billion VND from the provincial budget to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3.

Currently, Quang Nam has established two working delegations to visit and provide financial support to provinces and cities. The delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu visited the provinces of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, and Hai Duong.

The delegation led by Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited the remaining localities.
