At about 4:26 a.m. on May 13, the records room and the Vice Principal's office of Pho Thanh Secondary School (Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province) suddenly caught fire.

Accordingly, at about 4:26 a.m. the same day, Mr. Tran Cho, a security guard at the construction site of Pho Thanh Secondary School, heard the sound of broken glass in the area of the school principal's house, so he went out to see and saw a fire in the records room, north of the principal's house.

Immediately, Mr. Cho called the security guard and a Vice Principal to come to the school. Although he tried to put out the fire, it was too big to put out.

Upon receiving the news, the police force of Pho Thanh Ward, along with the Neighborhood Protection Committee, the militia, the Pho Thanh Border Guard Station, and the Fire Prevention and Fighting Team No. 3 (under the Quang Ngai Provincial Police) arrived at the scene and deployed firefighting equipment. At around 5:30 a.m., the fire was completely extinguished.
