Quang Tri verifies origin of maritime buoy washed ashore

Authorities have deployed a plan to protect and verify the origin of the buoy, which is about 12 meters long and 3.5 meters in diameter.

On the morning of August 30, Vinh Hoang Commune Police, Quang Tri Province, said they had deployed a plan to protect assets and coordinated with authorities to verify the origin of the maritime buoys that drifted ashore on the local coast for handling according to regulations.

3 people discovered and salvaged a navigation buoy drifting off the coast of Vinh Hoang commune.

Previously, on the evening of August 29, three people living in Tan Mach village, Vinh Hoang commune discovered a red maritime buoy drifting ashore on the local coast.

The buoy was about 12m long and 3.5m in diameter. These three people used an excavator to salvage it and brought it to shore and reported it to the authorities.
