Pakistan's state radio reported on May 26 that the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, have agreed to visit Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
This information was confirmed during two meetings between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad and the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, and the Qatari Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater.

Pakistan's state radio stated: "During the meeting with the Prime Minister, the Kuwaiti ambassador handed over a letter from the Emir of Kuwait expressing his intention to visit Pakistan at a time agreed upon by both sides."
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif mentioned his recent contact with the Emir of Kuwait on the sidelines of a special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last month.
The Pakistani leader also expressed satisfaction that the upcoming meeting of the Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Committee will take place in Kuwait from May 28-30.
Meanwhile, at a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Qatari ambassador conveyed a letter from the Emir accepting an invitation to pay an official visit to the South Asian nation on “dates to be agreed upon by both sides.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan's appreciation for its historical relationship with Qatar and reiterated its firm commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the "two brotherly nations".
In other news, according to Dawn , Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit China in the first week of next month to officially launch the second phase of the $60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). A source in the Prime Minister's Office said that Shehbaz Sharif is expected to depart for China on June 4th.
