Brocade colors in the special opening ceremony in Dak Lak

On the morning of September 5, schools in Dak Lak province simultaneously held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026.
This is the first school year that the education sector enters a new phase after Dak Lak province merged with Phu Yen . Dak Lak is a locality with 49 ethnic groups living together, creating colorful diversity.
On the opening day, the students, with bright smiles, confidently put on colorful traditional brocade costumes.
According to records, at Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, there are 132 students and 100% of the students are ethnic minorities in the area.
Dang Tuyet Nhung (9th grade student at Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities) shared that wearing Thai skirts helps her spread her love for her nation and cultural identity to her friends and those around her.
Mr. Bui Van Tien - Principal of Buon Ma Thuot Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, said: Students here are not only taught to read and write but also cared for to develop comprehensively, including culture, physical and mental health.
The school is committed to creating the best learning environment for students to develop their potential and preserve national cultural identity.
