Nam Sach District organizes a meeting to give gifts to young people preparing to join the army in 2025

Hai Duong will hand over 2,500 male citizens to 14 key units under the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 3, equivalent to 2024.

Of which, 10 units of the Ministry of National Defense are: General Staff, General Department of Politics , Command of the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Logistics Academy, Military Technical Academy, Army Corps 12, Air Defense - Air Force, Navy, Artillery, Engineering Corps. 4 units of Military Region 3 are: Division 395, Defense Economic Group 327, Provincial Military Command, Brigade 405.

According to the Provincial Military Command, the proportion of young people with health type 1 and type 2 accounts for 77%; young people aged 18 to 21 account for over 80%; young people who have graduated from college or university account for 14.6%. The whole province has 694 young people who have volunteered to join the army. Tu Ky district is the locality with the highest recruitment target in the province with 250 young people.

This year's work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army continues to be organized and implemented effectively, methodically, and in accordance with regulations by localities in Hai Duong.

The province has issued over 2,500 conscription orders to young men. The Military Service Councils of districts, towns and cities have paid attention to implementing the military rear policy, opening classes to foster awareness of the Party for 422 outstanding young men. Districts, towns and cities have presented over 2,500 gifts to young men joining the army (each gift worth from 500,000 to 2 million VND).

Hai Duong has two cases of twin brothers joining the army: Nguyen Ngoc Viet and Nguyen Ngoc Nam in Cu Loc village, Minh Duc commune (Tu Ky); Ta Trong Quang and Ta Trong Thang in Hong Phong commune (Thanh Mien).
