A special session of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly is about to take place.

According to the planned program, the thematic session on legislation will take place over two days, from April 1-2, 2024, at the National Assembly building.

It is expected that on April 1st, after National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue delivers the opening remarks at the session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give its opinion on the draft Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended).

Accordingly, the Minister of Public Security presented the proposal, the Chairman of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee presented the verification report, and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly discussed the matter.

On the afternoon of April 1st, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly discussed the draft Law on Notarization (amended). The Minister of Justice presented the submission, and the Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee presented the verification report.

On April 2, 2024, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly gave its opinion on the draft Law on the Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives, and Support Tools (amended). On the afternoon of April 2nd, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly discussed the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended). The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented its submission.
