Accordingly, the authorities in Soc Trang province have initiated legal proceedings in 11 cases related to corruption and abuse of power, including: 7 cases with 3 defendants for embezzlement of assets; 2 cases with 1 defendant for abuse of power and authority to appropriate assets; 1 case with 5 defendants for negligence causing serious consequences; and 1 case of bribery.

Regarding crimes against social order, the entire province detected nearly 700 cases, arresting and prosecuting 880 individuals. Of these, 100 out of 109 cases involving very serious and especially serious crimes were solved.
