In November 2025, Subaru officially introduced the new generation of Forester in the Vietnamese market. Meanwhile, old Subaru Forester models are still in stock at dealers, forcing the company to extend the incentive program to "clear stock".
Specifically, in December 2025, Subaru Forester continues to be offered a preferential price of only 829 million VND for the standard 2.0 iL version. Compared to the listed price, Subaru Forester 2.0 iL is 140 million VND cheaper.
Meanwhile, the 2.0 iL EyeSight version is discounted by the company by 278 million VND to 869 million VND. The incentives for this mid-range version include 100% registration fee, 100% vehicle registration fee (including license plate fee), 3 years of free maintenance, 5 years of physical insurance, 5 years of unlimited mileage warranty. In addition, there is a gift of an electric trunk worth 20 million VND that comes with the car but cannot be converted into cash.
The highest-end 2.0 iS EyeSight version is on sale for up to 308 million VND, including 100% registration fee, 100% vehicle registration fee (including license plate fee), 5 years of physical insurance, 5 years of free maintenance and 5 years of unlimited mileage warranty.
This is a genuine incentive program for Subaru Forester cars manufactured in 2024 (VIN 2024). Meanwhile, the new generation of this C-size SUV has no incentives and has a selling price of up to 1.299-1.399 billion VND for 2 versions. The reason for such a strong price increase is because it is imported completely from Japan after the Subaru factory in Thailand decided to close.
Not only the old Forester, Subaru also runs a promotion program for Crosstrek this December 2025. The Subaru Crosstrek promotion program is also unchanged compared to the previous month.
Accordingly, in December 2025, customers who buy the standard Subaru Crosstrek 2.0 iS EyeSight version will receive a discount of 199 million VND down to 899 million VND. For the highest-end 2.0 iS EyeSight e-Boxer Hybrid version, the car has a preferential price of 1.029 billion VND, equivalent to a reduction of 239 million VND.
Not stopping there, Subaru also gives away an electric trunk worth 19.5 million VND (not convertible to cash) for this B-size SUV. This gift brings the total promotional value of the Subaru Crosstrek to 218 million VND for the standard version and 258 million VND for the highest-end version.
It can be seen that both Subaru Forester and Crosstrek have the highest incentives in their respective segments. It is not surprising that Subaru is constantly promoting its cars because the price of this pair is too high in the segment, losing its competitive advantage.
Subaru does not currently announce specific sales figures in the Vietnamese market. It is only known that Forester is the company's best-selling product.
