(Dan Tri) - The woman who was given emergency aid on the road by the Director of Bim Son General Hospital (Thanh Hoa province) has recovered her health, is conscious and can walk.

On the morning of October 26, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Director of Bim Son General Hospital ( Thanh Hoa province), said that the health of Ms. NTH (50 years old, residing in Quang Trung ward, Thanh Hoa province) has gradually stabilized, and the patient can walk.

Ms. H. was the victim of an accident, lying motionless in the middle of the road. She was promptly rescued by Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong and taken to the hospital on October 23.

According to Ms. Huong, after 3 days of treatment at the hospital, patient H. was awake, able to walk and eat, although he still felt nauseous sometimes.

“The patient suffered a mild concussion and scratches on his arms and legs and is being treated at the hospital’s Surgery Department. It is expected that the patient will recover and be discharged after about 3 weeks of treatment,” said the hospital director.

A hospital representative said that after the incident, the patient's husband sent his thanks to the hospital director and doctors for their timely support.

Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. on October 23, while on her way to a meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong discovered a woman lying motionless on the road after a traffic accident.

Immediately, she stopped the car, checked the victim's health and provided first aid, and called the medical team and ambulance to the scene.

After being taken to Bim Son General Hospital, Ms. Huong directly examined and determined that the patient had a concussion.

After completing the medical examination, she continued to the meeting, unaware that her actions had been widely shared on social media.

On the morning of October 24, when many people asked, Ms. Huong learned that her story had received many compliments from the community.

According to her, saving people is a normal professional reflex, any doctor in that situation would do the same.

The female director also shared that in case of an accident, if there is no medical expertise, people should observe and monitor the victim's condition and wait for the medical team to come to provide first aid. On the contrary, if there is medical expertise, timely first aid should be provided to avoid bad situations from happening.
