On November 20th, the Gia Nghia City Police ( Dak Nong province) temporarily detained NHP (residing in Dak Mil town, Dak Mil district) for investigation into the act of resisting public officials.
NHP is the person who set his own motorbike on fire after it was impounded by authorities because the driver, P., had violated alcohol limits.

The motorbike was completely burned (Screenshot).
Previously, Dan Tri newspaper reported that at approximately 8:20 PM on November 18th, in Gia Nghia City, a joint task force of the Dak Nong Provincial Police checked the blood alcohol level of N.X.D. (driving a motorbike with license plate 48E1-342.00), at which time P. (the owner of the motorbike) was sitting behind him.
Upon examination, D. had a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 0.4 milligrams/liter of breath, so the authorities drew up a report to handle the case according to regulations.

The motorbike was reduced to just a frame after its owner set it on fire (Photo: Bao Ngoc).
Afterward, NHP asked permission to retrieve items from the trunk of the car. However, after opening the seat, P. unexpectedly opened the fuel tank cap, took out a lighter, and set his own car on fire.
Upon witnessing the incident, a traffic police officer grabbed P.'s hand to snatch the lighter away, trying to stop him, but it was too late. The motorbike was completely destroyed by the fire.
