Guide and support all procedures for new students

From early morning on August 25, lecturers from faculties and departments of Ton Duc Thang University were present to welcome and support candidates and their parents to enroll. A representative of the school said: "The school arranged consultation desks to answer questions and provide advice on the study program, necessary preparations, and things to know when studying and living at school to help new students get acquainted and quickly integrate into the new life and environment, ensuring the best learning and training. The school also arranged senior students to be present on the school's routes to guide parents of candidates to the enrollment locations."

Master Cao Quang Tu, Director of Admissions at Saigon International University, also said that from August 23 to 30, the school will organize flexible admission for new students throughout the week, including Saturday and Sunday, creating maximum conditions for new students and their parents to arrange the most convenient time to complete the procedures.

At Saigon University of Technology, Master Nguyen Thi Xuan Dung, Director of the Communication Center, informed that right after the announcement of the benchmark scores, the school began organizing admission for candidates from August 23. "The departments work continuously, including Saturdays and Sundays, to support candidates and parents in completing admission procedures in the most convenient way. When coming to school to enroll, new students are consulted and guided in detail on many different issues such as support policies, means of transportation... to have the best preparation when entering the university lecture hall", said Master Xuan Dung.

The Admissions and Student Affairs Department of the University of Economics and Law (UEL), Ho Chi Minh City National University, also announced detailed instructions on admission for new students of the 25th course right after the announcement of the admission scores, with specific timelines for admission confirmation on the Ministry's system, admission on the school's system, dormitory registration, direct admission and new student experience day, English entrance test, application submission by faculty, opening ceremony...

Directions to buses, metro, transportation

On the Facebook fanpage, students were given specific instructions: "Nowadays, getting to UEL is very easy with metro and public buses. After getting off at Ho Chi Minh City National University Station, you will take buses 53, 33 and 19 straight to UEL gate 1. From dormitory area B, you will take bus 53 to UEL gate 1, or bus 99 to Suoi Tien and from Suoi Tien, take one of bus 33 and 50 to UEL gate 1. K25-ers who want to look up bus routes quickly and effectively, use Google Map (select bus mode) and the MultiGo application. You will look up using your current location and the destination, the application will suggest bus routes, travel routes, detailed maps and stations to go through".

The Tourism Faculty of the University of Finance and Marketing made a very lively and cute 6-minute clip guiding new students on bus routes between the school's campuses and from the school's campuses to other prominent locations in the city.

Thousands of accommodation for new students

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, Deputy Director of the Center for Admissions and Business Relations of the University of Finance and Marketing, informed: "The Youth Union, Student Association and Student Affairs Department also guide students in registering for dormitories or boarding houses. Students can access the school's own website on boarding houses to learn about nearly 700 boarding places, enough for 1,500-2,000 students with full pictures, prices, addresses... New students who need to share a room or other advice can join the Zalo group".

According to Master Phung, on the day of admission, the School Union will also deploy a volunteer team to support parents and students to see the rooms in person and provide direct room-matching advice to new students.

In addition to the dormitory with more than 7,000 accommodations, Ton Duc Thang University also introduces to new students a system of reputable and friendly lodgings, and arranges teachers and senior students to take candidates to the lodgings to learn about them if they have a need.

Saigon International University supports providing information on reputable, safe and suitable accommodation areas for students around the school area. Students and teachers are always ready to take new students to survey the actual addresses of apartments and boarding houses with prices suitable for each student's needs.

Regarding accommodation, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology has a cooperation agreement with the Dormitory B of Ho Chi Minh City National University, a system of private dormitories and reputable boarding houses, providing more than 3,500 safe and comfortable accommodations for new students.

"Upon admission, students go through 9 steps, including step 7 dedicated to accommodation consultation. Here, a team of volunteers will directly advise, introduce, and guide students in choosing suitable accommodation. Parents and students are provided with images, detailed information, amenities, and transparent prices for easy consideration.

After choosing a suitable place, the support team will take students to see the room and help sign the contract. The school also accompanies students throughout their stay by closely coordinating with landlords and dormitories to ensure a safe living environment, create comfortable living conditions and provide timely support when necessary," shared Master Nguyen Thi Xuan Dung.

According to Master Bui Quang Trung, Head of Communications Department of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, as soon as they enroll, parents and new students are supported by the school with dormitories, rental accommodation or introduction to means of transportation when participating in studying.
