Speaking at the opening of the discussion, journalist Nguyen Tien Binh, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Electronic Magazine, shared: “Vietnam Education Electronic Magazine organized the discussion “Education quality assessment by foreign and domestic organizations” with the desire to record opinions from higher education institutions, education quality assessment centers and experts to have a basis and specific content to make policy recommendations to the Ministry of Education and Training to make transparent information about foreign education quality assessment organizations in Vietnam.

"At the same time, the Magazine also hopes that the sharing and comments from higher education institutions and experts in the discussion will create more favorable conditions for higher education institutions to choose the unit to conduct accreditation and at the same time create a fair playing field between domestic and foreign quality accreditation organizations," emphasized journalist Nguyen Tien Binh.

The seminar received many shares about the similarities and differences between educational quality assessment by domestic and foreign educational quality assessment organizations.

Some delegates said that, for accreditation activities by foreign educational quality accreditation organizations, the school's evidence must be translated from Vietnamese into English. This will be a difficulty if the translation does not convey the full meaning. Therefore, the issue of interpretation and translation must be really careful...
