On the morning of January 23, at the citizen reception office of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment , Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa chaired the regular citizen reception meeting for November 2024. Also attending were Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Le Vu Tuan Anh; leaders of the Department of Land, Department of Legal Affairs, Department of Planning and Land Resources Development, Department of Land Data and Information Registration and the Ministry Office.
In compliance with legal regulations on citizen reception, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment organizes regular citizen receptions on all working days of the week. Every month, the Ministry's leaders will directly receive citizens on the last Thursday of the month and conduct ad hoc receptions according to regulations to receive, answer and direct the timely resolution of complaints and denunciations of citizens in the field of Natural Resources and Environment.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa and functional units received a round of citizens complaining about land issues.
Specifically, the case of Mr. Nguyen Duy Nhan and some citizens residing in Ngoc Than village, Ngoc My commune (Quoc Oai, Hanoi ) petitioned to review the planning of land consolidation to build new rural areas in Ngoc Than village, Ngoc My commune, is it in accordance with the policy or not? Is the State protecting the land that has been granted to continue production, livestock raising, ensuring life or not? and petitions related to the planning of the project to build the Vietnam Museum of Nature in Ngoc My commune, Quoc Oai district.
After listening to citizens' opinions and answering questions and responding to citizens by the Ministry Inspectorate and its affiliated units, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa affirmed that the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment always listen and will focus on directing affiliated units to resolve people's petitions and concerns related to the fields of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment according to their authority and legal regulations.
Regarding the petition of Mr. Nguyen Duy Nhan, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa said that this case is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, therefore, the Ministry Inspectorate has been assigned to issue a document requesting the Hanoi People's Committee to direct the People's Committee of Quoc Oai district and relevant Departments and branches of the City to inspect, review, resolve and respond to citizens according to the provisions of law.
