On the afternoon of April 28, in Ninh Thuan province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the inauguration ceremony of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao component project and the opening of the Dien Chau - Bai Vot component project (section from Dien Chau to National Highway 46B).
The Prime Minister announced the inauguration of the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao component project and the opening of the Dien Chau - Bai Vot component project, part of the Investment Project to build a number of road sections on the North - South expressway in the East in the 2017-2020 period.
The Cam Lam - Vinh Hao component project has a route length of 79 km passing through 3 provinces: Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, invested under the public-private partnership (PPP) method with a total investment capital of VND 8,925 billion by the joint venture of investors Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company - Deo Ca Construction Joint Stock Company - Construction Investment Corporation 194 Joint Stock Company.

The Dien Chau - Bai Vot component project has a total length of more than 49 km, invested under the PPP method with a total investment capital of more than VND 11,157 billion, constructed by the joint venture of investors Hoa Hiep Company Limited - CIENCO4 Group Joint Stock Company - Nui Hong Investment Company Limited - Truong Son Construction Corporation - VINA2 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.
Prime Minister visits and encourages workers at the project
Construction started in May 2021 and has so far basically completed the main route from Dien Chau to the QL46B intersection with a length of about 30 km; the remaining 19 km are striving to be completed under the direction of the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his best wishes and encouragement to the cadres, employees and workers working on the projects with the spirit of working through holidays and Tet to complete the projects on schedule.
Prime Minister gives gifts to workers implementing the project
According to the Prime Minister, the inauguration of the two projects today is thanks to the joint efforts, high determination, participation of the entire political system, people, businesses, and close direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Cam Lam-Vinh Hao Expressway officially comes into operation
When these two projects come into operation, the total length of the North-South expressway will increase to 1,187km; bringing the total length of expressways in operation nationwide to more than 2,000km, shortening travel time for people.
