Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that through the first Autumn Fair, the goal of building Vietnam into a leading exhibition center in Asia and a destination for international trade fairs will be gradually realized.

On the evening of October 25, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People's Committee jointly organized the opening ceremony of the first Autumn Fair in 2025. "6 best things" of the first Autumn Fair

In his opening speech, the Prime Minister emphasized that the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is a very important economic and cultural event, not only on a national scale, but also reaching international level, honoring typical products and brands with Vietnamese identity and intelligence; contributing to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", promoting trade, investment, international integration and achieving an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2025, double digits in the following years.

Held for the first time, with a short preparation time, a large amount of work, high requirements, large area, requiring the coordination and participation of many agencies and units, the fair has achieved "6 bests": largest scale; most modern space; most diverse products; highest quality; most attractive activities; best incentive policies.

The Head of Government stated that the fair is a vivid and convincing demonstration of the country's integration mindset, outstanding capacity, breakthrough aspiration, and contemporary stature; at the same time, it is a crystallized symbol of the spirit of solidarity, creativity, high determination, great effort, drastic action, "only discuss, do not discuss back" of the Government, ministries, branches, localities, business community, entrepreneurs, and people of Vietnam.

Ministries, branches, agencies, units and localities actively and proactively promote and introduce typical and unique products, especially OCOP products; organize investment, tourism and trade promotion programs, and bring Vietnamese brands to the world market.

Associations, corporations, and businesses continue to promote and introduce products; diversify markets, products, and supply chains; proactively seek partners, access new technologies, and new markets; and participate deeply in regional and global production networks and supply chains...

At the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister also mentioned that in recent days, some provinces in the Central and Northern regions of our country have been heavily affected by storms, flash floods, and landslides, causing great damage to people and property.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister sent his deepest condolences and warm regards to the people and soldiers in the areas affected by natural disasters and floods; and expressed his admiration for the spirit of solidarity, resilience and overcoming difficulties of the people and comrades.

The Prime Minister requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front and called on the business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide to continue to join hands in donating and supporting people in flood-affected areas, with the noble gesture of "national love, compatriotism", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".

This sharing is the cultivation of humanity, the spread of good values, the promotion of social responsibility and the good nature of our regime and our people.

The first Autumn Fair in 2025 will be held from October 25 to November 4 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). This event follows the great success of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

With the theme and message "Connecting people with production and business", the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is organized on the largest scale ever: total exhibition area of ​​over 130,000 m², including 5 themed zones, about 3,000 booths; culinary culture area of ​​34 localities, music and art programs, cultural and artistic experiences...
