"6 Best" features of the first Autumn Fair

In his opening remarks, the Prime Minister emphasized that the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is a very important economic and cultural event, not only on a national scale but also reaching international levels, honoring typical products and brands that embody Vietnamese identity and intelligence; contributing to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods," promoting trade, investment, international integration, and achieving an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2025, and double digits in the following years.

Despite being organized for the first time, with a short preparation time, a large workload, high demands, a vast area, and the need for coordination and participation from many agencies and units, the fair achieved "six firsts": largest scale; most modern space; most diverse products; highest quality; most attractive activities; and best preferential policies.

The head of the government stated that the fair is a vivid and convincing testament to the country's integrated thinking, outstanding capabilities, aspirations for breakthroughs, and contemporary stature; it is also a symbolic embodiment of the spirit of solidarity, creativity, high determination, great effort, decisive action, and the "only talk, not back down" attitude of the Government, ministries, localities, and the business community, entrepreneurs, and people of Vietnam.

Beyond just record-breaking numbers, the fair also provides a favorable opportunity for the promotion of trade, investment, tourism, and the cultural image of Vietnam and its people to be seamlessly and effectively combined; it is a place where domestic and foreign resources are connected, investment cooperation is expanded, trade is boosted, and consumption is stimulated; it is a place not only to experience shopping for high-quality Vietnamese goods but also to enjoy the rich, creative, and unique cuisine, culture, and art of Vietnam.

The fair also serves as an important bridge for Vietnamese businesses to strengthen economic integration, exchange experiences, and receive technology transfer, especially in digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy, and knowledge economy, contributing to the realization of the two strategic goals for the 100-year period - for a peaceful, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam.

"With its strategic geographical location and the aspiration to elevate the country to new heights, through this fair, we will gradually realize the goal of building Vietnam into a leading exhibition center in Asia, a destination for international trade fairs; to 'develop cultural industries and the creative economy into new pillars of growth,' as General Secretary To Lam emphasized," the Prime Minister said.

Moving towards organizing a four-season fair "spring - summer - autumn - winter"

To ensure the fair truly becomes a trading destination, a meeting point for cultural and artistic exchange, a hub for connection and vibrant experiences for the people and international friends, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to meticulously prepare all necessary conditions to ensure the fair's successful organization, moving towards organizing a series of annual "spring - summer - autumn - winter" fairs and an annual international autumn fair.

Ministries, departments, agencies, units, and localities should actively and proactively promote and introduce typical and outstanding products, especially OCOP products; organize investment, tourism, and trade promotion programs, and bring Vietnamese brands to the world market.

Associations, corporations, and businesses continue to promote and introduce their products; diversify markets, products, and supply chains; proactively seek partners, access new technologies and markets; and participate extensively in regional and global production networks and supply chains.

"The first Autumn Fair in 2025 will not only open up new spaces for connection between businesses and consumers, between Vietnam and the world, and between people and production and business, but more importantly, it will be a 'source of creativity - shining intellect - exchange and learning - affirming capabilities - spreading pride' and the spirit of 'a constructive state - pioneering enterprises - public-private partnership - a prosperous nation - a happy people'."

"We hope and believe that the success of today's fair will further inspire confidence, ignite aspirations, and foster determination to propel the country forward, conquer new heights, and affirm the position and stature of the Vietnamese nation on the international stage," the Prime Minister emphasized.

Let's continue to join hands in supporting our compatriots affected by floods and storms.

At the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister also mentioned that in recent days, several provinces in central and northern Vietnam have been severely affected by storms, floods, and landslides, causing significant damage to people and property.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister extended his deepest condolences and heartfelt greetings to the people and soldiers in the areas affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods; and expressed his admiration for the solidarity, resilience, and overcoming of difficulties shown by the people and comrades.

The Prime Minister requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front and called on the business community, compatriots, and soldiers nationwide to continue joining hands to donate and support people in flood-stricken areas, with the noble gesture of "national solidarity and brotherly love," and "helping those in need."

This act of sharing fosters human connection, spreads positive values, promotes social responsibility, and is the inherent goodness of our system and our nation.

The Head of Government also expressed sincere gratitude for the attention and contributions of organizations and individuals both domestically and internationally to the work of preventing, combating, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms, and floods, helping to alleviate losses, create motivation and confidence to help people quickly stabilize their lives and restore production and business.

The first Autumn Fair, 2025, will be held from October 25th to November 4th at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). This event follows the resounding success of the "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" exhibition showcasing the country's achievements.

With the theme and message "Connecting people with production and business," the first Autumn Fair in 2025 will be organized on the largest scale ever: a total exhibition area of over 130,000 m², including 5 themed zones, approximately 3,000 booths; a culinary culture area from 34 localities, music festivals, cultural performances, and artistic experiences…

The fair brought together participants from 34 provinces and cities; central ministries and agencies; and over 2,500 Vietnamese and international organizations and businesses...
