Vietnam OCOPEX 2025, from August 1-3 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, has become a meeting place for typical Vietnamese OCOP products, where products from all regions shine together, affirming their quality and potential to reach the international market.
Vietnam OCOPEX 2025 takes place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi from August 1-3, with 300 booths of about 200 units from 34 provinces and cities across the country. OCOP products all achieve 3 stars or more, belonging to many product groups such as fresh agricultural products, processed products, handicrafts...
Many OCOP products are not only consumed domestically but also exported to other countries such as Cocool coconut cake... The dragon fruit noodles product of Loc Thuy Quynh Cooperative ( Vinh Phuc ) is one of many processed agricultural products that were highly appreciated by visitors. Ms. Tran Thi Thuy - Director of the Cooperative shared that this product is a combination of dragon fruit and red bao thai rice, has no additives, is good for health and has a delicious taste, so it is favored by consumers. This year's fair also featured seafood products, of which Ca Mau crab is popular for its sweetness, firm meat and richness of roe. Mr. Nguyen Hoang An - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cai Bat Cooperative said: "This is the first time the cooperative has brought products to the Vietnam OCOPEX fair, including fresh crab as well as processed products such as shrimp crackers, dried shrimp... The unit's products have been consumed in supermarkets such as Aeon, Coopmart as well as exported." Tea ceremony space is designed separately by each unit. This year, Hanoi has its own city pavilion with many outstanding products such as Me Tri green rice, Ba Vi milk, My Duc silk, Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo...
Here, visitors will be able to admire the process of separating silk fibers from lotus stems - an important step in weaving lotus silk. In addition to domestic units, Vietnam OOPEX also has the participation of international booths from Peru, Cambodia and Laos. Peru booth with sophisticated handicraft products, prices range from 150,000 VND - 3,000,000 VND/product. Notably, the teddy bear products introduced at the booth are made from llama hair, have high softness and beautiful colors.
The unit from Cambodia brings products mainly related to health. Laos introduces its strong agricultural products, and visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy papaya salad, a specialty of the neighboring country.
