Vietnam OCOPEX 2025, held from August 1-3 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, has become a meeting point for typical Vietnamese OCOP products, where products from all regions shine, affirming their quality and potential to reach the international market.
Vietnam OCOPEX 2025 takes place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hanoi from August 1-3, with 300 booths of about 200 units from 34 provinces and cities across the country. OCOP products all achieve 3 stars or higher, belonging to various product groups such as fresh agricultural products, processed products, handicrafts, etc.
Many OCOP products are not only consumed domestically but also exported to other countries such as Cocool coconut cake... The dragon fruit noodles from Loc Thuy Quynh Cooperative ( Vinh Phuc province ) are one of many processed agricultural products showcased and highly appreciated by visitors. Ms. Tran Thi Thuy, Director of the Cooperative, shared that this product is made from dragon fruit and pink Bao Thai rice, contains no additives, is good for health, and has a delicious flavor, making it popular with consumers. This year's fair also features seafood products, with Ca Mau crab being particularly popular for its sweet, firm flesh and rich roe. Mr. Nguyen Hoang An, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cai Bat Cooperative, stated: "This is the first time the cooperative has brought its products to the Vietnam OCOPEX fair, including fresh crab as well as processed items such as shrimp crackers and dried shrimp... Our products have been sold in supermarkets like Aeon and Coopmart, as well as exported." Tea ceremony space is designed separately by each unit. This year, Hanoi has its own dedicated booth featuring many outstanding products such as Me Tri sticky rice flakes, Ba Vi milk, My Duc silk, and Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo products...
Here, visitors can witness the process of extracting silk fibers from lotus stems – a crucial step in weaving lotus silk. In addition to domestic exhibitors, Vietnam OOPEX also features international booths from Peru, Cambodia, and Laos. The Peruvian booth features exquisite handicrafts, with prices ranging from 150,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND per item. Notably, the teddy bears showcased at the booth were made from llamas' wool, boasting exceptional softness and stunning colors.
The company from Cambodia brought mainly health-related products. Laos showcased its key agricultural products, and visitors had the opportunity to sample the country's signature papaya salad.
