Organize 7 vocational training classes for poor, near-poor and newly escaped poverty households

TPO - Recently, the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education (VET) of Chi Lang district in coordination with the Poverty Reduction Committee of Van An commune organized training in pig farming for 35 workers from poor households, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty households in Hong Tan and Tan Minh villages of Van An commune, Chi Lang district.

Accordingly, within 30 days, students will be taught theory and practice of pig farming techniques. At the end of the course, qualified students will be granted vocational training certificates by the Center according to regulations. Thereby, helping poor households, near-poor households, and newly escaped poverty households gain more knowledge and skills in livestock farming and apply them effectively to their family's livestock farming practices.

According to the plan of the District Vocational Education and Training Center, from the beginning of 2023 to August 11, the center has organized 7 vocational training classes in the communes: Bang Huu, Van Linh, Hoa Binh , Thuong Cuong, Van An and Chien Thang for 235 students. Of which, there are 4 classes for livestock training and 3 classes for crop training, with 131 students belonging to poor households, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty households.

In addition to organizing vocational training classes, in recent times, Chi Lang district has also increased the organization of propaganda sessions on preventing early marriage and incestuous marriage; organized propaganda and dissemination of legal education , and trained on skills in providing legal aid, accessing legal aid for people in poor households, near-poor households, and ethnic minorities in 8 particularly difficult communes: Van An, Chien Thang, Huu Kien, Bang Huu, Lien Son, Lam Son, Bac Thuy, and Van Thuy.
