The semi-final of Miss Global 2024 recently took place in Thailand, featuring 62 contestants. Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van represented Vietnam in this year's competition.

In the semi-final night, Nhu Van and the other contestants went through three rounds of competition: bikini, evening gown, and national costume. With her experience as a professional model, the Vietnamese representative delivered an impressive performance, receiving much praise from the audience.

In the National Costume segment, Nhu Van showcased "The Land of Blooming Stones" by designers Bui The Bao and Nguyen Nguyen Bao. The costume was inspired by the Hmong people's traditional flute dance and umbrella.

The design recreates a dreamy landscape of Northwest Vietnam with the pink hues of wild peach blossoms, symbolizing the vibrant life and beauty of the mountains and forests.

After the semi-final night, Nhu Van's performance was highly praised. Beauty pageant websites such as Queen Crow News, Coronas Universales Pageants, Reias Grand Slams, etc., all predicted that the Vietnamese representative would win the crown.

The renowned beauty website Missosology predicts that Nhu Van will become the second runner-up. Beauties from Indonesia, Venezuela, the United States, and Malaysia are all included in the prediction rankings.

The Miss Global 2024 final will take place on the evening of March 9th in Thailand.
