General Political Department: Survey and propose amendments and additions to regulations and rules on planning and coordination work regarding Party work and political work.

On the morning of October 17, at the Military Command of Lang Son province, the Office of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) held a conference to study, discuss, and propose amendments and supplements to the Regulations on Planning and Synthesis (KH-TH) on Party work and political work (CTĐ, CTCT); Regulations on the system of CTĐ, CTCT documents; Regulations on criteria for evaluating the results of CTĐ, CTCT activities in the VPA. Colonel Nguyen Manh Thang, Deputy Chief of the Office of the General Department of Politics chaired the conference.

Also attending were Colonel Nong Tien Dung, Deputy Head of Political Department of Military Region 1; Colonel Nguyen Cong Khue, Political Commissar of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command; and representatives from relevant functional agencies under the General Political Department Office, the Political Department of Military Region 1, and the Lang Son Provincial Military Command.

Colonel Nguyen Manh Thang, Deputy Chief of the General Political Department's Office, chaired the meeting.

At the conference, delegates discussed the results of implementing regulations and rules on science and technology work in Party and political work, in conjunction with the implementation of new regulations, especially Regulation No. 332, dated June 24, 2025, of the Politburo on Party organization in the Vietnam People's Army; Regulation No. 334, dated June 27, 2025, of the Secretariat on the organization of political organs in the Vietnam People's Army; and Resolution No. 866, dated June 14, 2025, of the Central Military Commission on leading the continued implementation of the restructuring of local military organizations to be "lean, efficient, and strong" to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The conference aims to survey, evaluate, and learn from the results achieved; identify limitations, obstacles, and inadequacies in the implementation of regulations and rules on Party and political work, ensuring consistency and uniformity with newly issued documents and the practical realities of each type of unit; thereby contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of Party and political work throughout the army.
